Physical wellness involves taking care of your body in a few different ways. For example, making sure you are eating a well and balanced diet, sleeping at least 7 hours if not more each night, and engaging in physical activity for at least 150 minutes each week.

Outdoor Fitness

One’s spiritual wellness revolves around finding purpose and meaning in life and acting in ways that align with your beliefs. Spiritual wellness can be practiced with or without organized religion.

Meditating

Environmental wellness focuses on seeking out supportive environments that enable you to be your best self. Environmental wellness can also mean connecting with the world around you and understanding how your actions affect the environment.

Tree

Emotional wellness focuses on identifying, understanding, and managing your emotions. This means taking care of your mental health, living optimistically, and practicing empathy.

Emotions

Social wellness is about creating and maintaining healthy relationships with your friends, family, and significant other(s).

Picnic in Nature

Intellectual wellness is accomplished by staying curious and expanding your knowledge and skills. 

University

Vocational wellness deals with one’s work life and how it contributes to society. Ideally, you should choose work that satisfies and enriches you.
